Volunteer Marketing and Communications Board Advisor

Child Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting underprivileged children worldwide, is seeking a seasoned Marketing and Communications professional to serve as a Volunteer Advisor on our Board. This remote role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced individual to contribute their expertise and strategic guidance to enhance our marketing and communications efforts, ultimately advancing our mission to empower children through education and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Board and senior leadership to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy aligned with Child Foundation’s mission and objectives.
  2. Brand Management: Provide insights and recommendations for brand development, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand identity across all communication channels.
  3. Content Strategy: Advise on content creation and dissemination strategies, including website content, social media, email campaigns, and press releases.
  4. Audience Engagement: Guide efforts to engage diverse stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, and beneficiaries, through impactful and tailored communication strategies.
  5. Digital Marketing: Offer expertise in digital marketing trends and tools to maximize our online presence and reach a broader audience.
  6. Performance Metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor the effectiveness of marketing and communication initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in marketing and communications, with a focus on strategy and leadership.
  • Expertise in brand management, content strategy, and audience engagement.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and tools.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to Child Foundation’s mission and values.
  • Previous board or advisory experience preferred but not required.

Commitment:

This is a volunteer position, and the advisor is expected to commit to a minimum of 5-10 hours per month for a term of one year, with the possibility of extension.
